11th B.P.S. update:

IBA has submitted their issues to UFBU after they have submitted their Charter of Demands.

Some of the issues as circulated by AIBOA....

MANAGEMENT ISSUES:

[1] C2C concept to be brought in
[2] Rationalisation of Special Pay carrying posts.
[3] Review of the two graduation increments
[4] Transfer and deployment of workmen staff
[5] Simultaneous conduct of departmental and judicial proceedings for workmen
[6] Conducting the departmental proceedings after retirement of workmen
[7] Premature retirement of workmen
[8] Outsourcing of any activity within the RBI guidelines
[9] Review of the automatic movement of officers from Scale I to II and also from Scale II to III
[10] To mark lien on NPS fund of employees to recover loss to the Bank on account of their proved misconduct.

Because of the 1st point it will take another 3 years to complete this settlement.. 😥

If government is ready to implement C2C and raise based on performance in central and state and PSU across india, then bank employees are also ready. why this partiality to bank employees even after giving so much money to government as profits. losses in banks are due to government policies not because of incapability of employees. government will not understand the importance of banks when it is in their hands, once privatized they will understand the importance of them.hope government open their eyes and keep away their ego aside.

This ever known policy of the management to linger the talks is perineal in nature.This benefits both the management as well as the union's.Whereas the Banks enjoy the deffered,interest free payment of arrears,on the other hand Union's enjoy the benefits of a large amount of levy.

The issues raised by the management without indicating the approximate quantum of offer that they will be able to consider in return for accepting the issues by the employees are intriguing. It is creating an impression that IBA is still in the same mindset as previous settlement though there is sea change in the environment. It is time for the Central Government to reward hard working Bank staff and officers who have rendered exemplary service who are giving full cooperation with the Government to implement its programs. The Senior Bankers in charge of negotiations shall be realistic and appreciative of reasonable wages to Bankers compared to Government of India employees and other public sector organisation. The revised service charges, interest rate spreads, technological improvements, good marketing efforts , the awareness about NPAs, efforts by the Banks and RBI to reduce NPAs, the lean staffing measures, reduced cost of operations etc., are going to have a positive impact in the working and profitability of the Banks soon. IBA should be able to convince the Government for one of the historic settlement.

शुक्र है हमेशा की तरह IBA और UFBU कम से कम चल तो रहे हैं भले ही कछुवे की चाल से ही सही ,इसी तरह कम से कम 4 मीटिंगों के बाद ही पहला नतीजा सामने आएगा ।
